Admission Application Processing

What Happens Next?

Assessment Upon receipt of a completed application that includes all required documentation and the required application fee, we will assess your submission on a first-received, first-qualified basis:

  • We will review your complete application and notify you as quickly as possible.
  • If you are qualified for a program that has seats available, you will be admitted.
  • If you are qualified for a program that does not have an available seat, you will be placed on a waitlist. If a seat becomes available at a later date, you will be contacted.
  • If you are not accepted into a program, you will be contacted.

Payment of Tuition Deposit:

  • Once you are admitted to a program, you must confirm your intention to enroll by paying the required non-refundable tuition deposit within the timeframe indicated in the letter/email you receive from NSCC. This deposit counts towards your tuition.
  • After confirming your seat, you will receive correspondence welcoming you to NSCC.
  • If you do not pay the non-refundable tuition deposit within the required timeframe indicated in your letter/email, you risk losing your seat in the program.

Tuition & Fees Payment Each year, the first tuition and fees payment is due in early August (for programs starting in the Fall term). This payment includes tuition, Health & Dental Plan costs, and Student Association fees. If you do not make payment arrangements on time, you risk losing your seat in your program. If you're seeking, or have funding from a sponsoring agency, you need to advise your Campus.
