Do you want options to begin a successful career in business?

Do you want to understand how a business works? 

If so, choose Business Administration.  In this two year Diploma program, you will first gain the foundation knowledge for the world of business, and in your second year, you will concentrate into a number of specific directions dependant upon your interests and strengths. This program will provide you with an understanding of the world of business and the perspective to choose what skills you want to use in it.

Our grads are working as Loans Managers in banks, earning credentials in insurance appraisal, working as office managers, in records centers, as database specialists, working for government, private industry, not-for-profits, etc.  They develop excellent problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Culinary Skills:

Develop the key skills you need to launch a career in the food service industry. This one-year Culinary Skills certificate prepares you for work as an apprentice commercial cook and gives you a pathway to becoming a professional cook.

Grow your passion for food and appreciation for both classic and emerging culinary trends and nutrition including:

  • Basic cooking principles

  • Food preparation

  • Food culture and tradition

  • International cooking techniques

  • Farm-to-table food sourcing

  • Food cost control

  • Culinary history

  • Recipe management

You spend most of your time putting the theories you learn to test in a real, commercial kitchen on campus.

Medical Office Administration:

 

Do you want to be on the front line of the medical community?

Do you see yourself working in a in a doctor's office, hospital or clinic setting?

 

If so, choose Medical Office Administration.  This one year Certificate program will help you develop the skills to become a vital part of the medical-office team, managing the bookings and appointments, processing the billing and preparing medical documents. New to Lunenburg Campus in 2007; we are excited to have Medical Office Assistant as an option available for you in 2008.
